It was a very cold morning . I managed to started this on location but it soon got too cold for me and the fog was moving in . I finished the painting at home.

I picked these on my daily walk . I love the yellow and purple together. It was a very hot day and I was pleased to be out of the sun painting at home.

About me
I am an artist and teacher. I live in South Wales and have been here for 6 years. I was born in Bristol but have moved around the UK. alot living in Lancshire, kent, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. I enjoy painting different landscapes.
I work mainly in oil paint, but I also teach Acrylic
I love to work outside "en Plein air ". I love to paint Landscapes but I also don't like the cold,so will work from photos. I find that painting is wonderful for my mental health as I am totally absorbed in the process.
My passion is creativity and I hope I pass this on to my students. I hold 2 workshops amonth.
I also organise a few painting retreats each year.

I painted this from a photo of mine. The ground was very slippery and the air too cold for me to stand and paint. It was very quiet and still. This is what I was thinking about as I painted.

Tenby, South Wales
I had a few days away painting in south Wales. Tendy was my first stop. I love the place with all the great views and coloured buildings. Painted on location in just under 3 hours.
